# Pageworks Free vs Pro: choose by the work you need to deliver

Choose the plan from the next deliverable.

## Worked example

Use these starting values to work through the decision, then substitute your own inputs.

Choose the plan from the next deliverable. An eight-slide internal readout that will only be viewed has different requirements from a 24-slide proposal that a client must edit in PowerPoint. Free's ten-slide limit fits the first length; Pro's up-to-50-slide allowance fits the second. Length alone is insufficient: the client needs editable export, while Free PPTX contains slide images. Check the actual billing period and renewal terms instead of treating a starting price as a monthly subscription.

## Choose by the deliverable, then the plan

Write down the maximum length, required output and who will edit the result. These requirements are more useful than a generic feature count. Compare the whole billing commitment, not just the largest price printed on the page.

1. Make a short sample containing the hardest required object before uploading a complete brief.
2. Confirm slide limits, generation allowance and export editability on the current pricing page.
3. Open the downloaded sample in the recipient's software. Upgrade only after identifying the requirement the current plan cannot satisfy.

## Create your next presentation

Turn your own source into a presentation you can confidently share. Refine the outline and slides in the editor, then choose Pro for editable PowerPoint your team can keep improving.
