1. Who we are
The personal-data controller for the Pageworks Service is APPSLABS OÜ, a private limited company registered in Estonia. For any privacy question or request, contact us at support@pageworks.app — a person answers, not a robot.
2. What data we collect
- Account data: your email address (and username) when you sign up.
- Your content: the briefs you type, files you upload, links you paste, and the presentations generated from them.
- Billing data: the email and plan status tied to your purchase. Full card details are handled by Stripe and never stored on our servers.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, and basic usage events needed to run and secure the Service.
3. How we use your data
- To create your account, generate your presentations, and store your decks.
- To process payments and manage subscriptions.
- To answer support requests.
- To keep the Service safe, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your briefs or files to advertise to you.
4. AI processing of your content
To generate presentations, your brief, uploaded files, and related instructions are processed by third-party AI model providers acting on our behalf. Your content is used to produce your deck — not to train public models. Photo suggestions are matched to your topic through a stock photo search (the search words, not your whole brief, are sent to the photo provider).
5. Who we share data with
- AI model providers — to generate slide content from your brief and files.
- Stripe — payments and subscription management.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers — to run the Service.
- Stock photo providers — topic-based search queries for image suggestions.
We share only what is needed for each provider to do its part.
6. Your rights
You can request access to your data, its correction or deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, or object to processing — by emailing support@pageworks.app. You can also delete decks yourself in the editor and cancel subscriptions in Settings → Billing. If you are in the EU/EEA or the UK, you may additionally complain to your local data-protection authority.
7. Age limit
The Service is not intended for children under 16. Do not create an account if you are younger.
8. International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards required by applicable law (such as standard contractual clauses) so your data stays protected.
9. How long we keep data
Account and billing records are kept while your account is active and as long as law requires (tax and accounting rules — typically several years for billing documents). Generated decks are kept until you delete them or close your account. Uploaded source files may be deleted earlier as storage is cleaned up. After a deletion request we may retain minimal records where law requires, and we may use anonymised or aggregated data (which no longer identifies you) for product improvement without limitation.
10. Security
We apply industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege access to production data). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure — we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we investigate and notify affected users of incidents as required by law.
11. Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies (for example, your login session). Details: Cookie Policy.
