Classroom decks that keep eyes up, not on phones

Use these starting values to work through the decision, then substitute your own inputs.
Plan a thirty-minute lesson around what learners will do. A possible sequence is five minutes of recall, eight of explanation, ten of practice, five of discussion and two for an exit question. Put one worked example before the independent exercise, and keep the solution off the student-facing slide until review. Ask learners to explain the method, not copy the final number. Use the exit responses to decide what needs reteaching; the slide count is not a learning measure.
Rehearse the audience's experience
Use the actual file, display and notes arrangement. A rehearsal inside the editor does not test the exported deck or screen-sharing setup. Mark the sentence that connects each important slide to the next so transitions do not depend on memory alone.
- Say the opening and final request aloud; time them with the pauses you intend to use.
- Check the hardest explanation and one likely question. Place supporting evidence where you can reach it quickly.
- Prepare a local backup and identify what changes if the connection, display or allotted time fails.
